Tom not only competed at the events, but he was more than likely working hard behind the scenes to organize and set it up. Tom, single handidly forged a union between the local SCCA region and the USA-1 Corvette Club. Tom founded the Drivers Challenge autocross series involving the two clubs, that lasted for many years.
